Mr. Jesse Amacher, owner and lead instructor of the St. Paul Dojang, began studying Tae Kwon Do at the age of 14 under Grand Master Byung Yul Lee, and his eldest son Master In Yong Lee. In addition to Tae Kwon Do, Mr, Amacher has studied various other martial arts, and has helped in the demonstration and development of the cardio-kickboxing curriculum widely taught in martial arts studios.

Although Mr Amacher is attracted to the competitive side of the martial arts, his goal in teaching Tae Kwon Do is to build a sense of community where all students support and motivate each other. Mr. Amacher believes that the disipline and integrity learned through Tae Kwon Do builds moral strength, and is committed to helping children, teens and young adults learn to make good life choices.
