Hobbies: Competitive sports, travel, TaeKwonDo training, and any activity with his family and friends.

Master James Escobar started TaeKwonDo in 1991 under Grandmaster Lee. Since then he has continued training regularly and also began to teach in 1994 and has been ever since.

He specialty is teaching beginners all of the benefits of TaeKwonDo. He has competed locally, nationally, and internationally, and through his experience some of his students have become national champions. He believes everyone has the potential to become a black belt.

- Certified 4th degree black belt
- National level competitor since 2000
- State champion in forms
- National level coach
- USA Taekwondo Certified Referee
